1983-1984 Pictures - Page 3 of 4

The front porch of Wyche house. The planter pictured with the flowers was gone by the time I moved in there in the fall of 1984.
Don't you hate having shutterbugs live on your hall?  I'm guessing this is the result of a photographer with a roll of film they wanted to finish, and a hallmate who wasn't interested in having her picture taken.
The man standing in the rear with the pennant is Warren Basket, who was in charge of the RA's (sorry, Warren, I forget your exact title).  The woman seated to the right was Kim Frierson, who was RA on 1st Beall from 1984-86 and also had her hands full preventing unsportsmanlike displays of jubilation during intramural flag football games.  Sorry, I don't recognize the woman on the left, but of course I'll put her name in if somebody identifies her for me.
Surely there's a story here that deserves to be told!  Could this be the talent portion of the Mr. Unicorn event, and could the talent on display be solving Rubik's Cube?
Music teacher Randy Foy during a rehearsal.  I'm sure this is an innocent head scratch, and not a moment of "oh, man, we have to play this at a concert in two days!"  Mr .Foy has also been known to many NCSSM'ers, even after he left NCSSM in 1986, as the orchestra conductor at Governor's School West at Salem College each summer.
Joe Liles and students collecting some Christmas trees.
