NCSSM Oral History - Photos from Spring 1986

All images on this page were taken by Kyle Barger '86 in Spring 1986. I do not have prints of any of these; they were scanned using a film scanner which I had to borrow time on from my previous employer. Unfortunately it took me a while to get the hang since I had never used it before and my time was limited. So some of the images are a little soft. I will re-do them, and add more, at a later date!
Student air-band competition... Wham! if I recall. Derrick Craig '86 and John Brotherton '86 (or is it Michael??)

Mary Jean (Camp) Leonardi '86, hard at work on some infrared spectrophotometry

1986 graduates from Wyche

Michael Grant '86, practicing up on his air drumming technique

Kite flying at the Reservoir; Elmer Boyce '86 and Donna Shumate '86

Dr. Kolena presides at the faculty airband exhibition just before graduation; false modesty is clearly not an issue for him!

More faculty air band; Marilyn Link on the left, Carolyn Morse on the right. I'm not sure who the one in the middle is, drop me a line if you know.

The Wyche Basement pingpong table... How many hours upon hours did I spend in front of it when I should have been studying?

Thomas Livengood '86 proudly displays his weapon of choice after completing the mounting of the Wyche House sign that he made. Up to this point, there was no Wyche sign on the place, though you could see weathering on one of the columns where pervious lettering had once been. This sign was removed at some point after Wyche closed; does anybody know what happened to it?

Unicorn symbol and signatures from the Wyche basement; though the photo was taken in 1986, the signatures are from the 1983-84 school year.
